Damper for ADSS/OPGW

The metal vibration damper for OPGW is assembled by clamp, steel strand and damper weight. The clamp is made by al alloy, rest parts are made by hot dip galvanized steel. The damper is to ensure conductor life through reducing vibration stress by wind, and eliminate the fatigue stress. The protective tape is an option per customer request. The vibration damper is also suitable for bare conductors such as ACSR according to conductor diameter and weight.

The spiral vibration damper for ADSS is made by high quality plastic. The spiral means it has long helical shape to wrap the ADSS and protect cables actions from nature wind. The special spiral design will help to reduce cable signal loss as well as elimination of the fatigue stress by cable.
